The use method and maintenance of bulldozer track under different working conditions

Release time: 2020-06-28 12:50:29 Source: Bulldozer

The bulldozer track is not easy to sink due to its large support and ground contact area, and the rolling resistance is also small, so it is more suitable for construction operations in soft or muddy fields. Moreover, there are crawler teeth on the supporting surface of the track, which is not easy to slip, and has good traction landing performance, which is conducive to exerting a large traction force. However, the crawler track has a complicated structure, heavy weight, large motion inertia, and poor cushioning performance, which results in serious wear and tear, high cost, and short life of the "four wheels and one belt". Generally, the maintenance cost of bulldozers "four belts and one belt" accounts for about 60% of the annual maintenance cost of bulldozers. If the operator can reasonably select crawlers and maintain and maintain them according to different working conditions, the service life of the crawlers can be greatly extended and the expenses can be saved.

A: Choose different tracks for different working conditions

The wear resistance of the rock track is achieved by the work hardening effect of the surface of the high manganese steel track shoe. If a rock-type track shoe is used in a soft rock zone, the work hardening effect cannot be produced, the hardness is not improved, and the wear is rapid. In this case, it is best to use single-tooth track shoes for soft rock, or track shoes close to the repair limit or track shoes after welding repair. Therefore, the crawler should be selected according to the soil type and mechanical operating conditions.

1: Under general soil conditions (less than level 4), single-tooth track shoes should be used. The tooth profile of the track shoes is sharp, the grip is firm and the traction is large. If it is used for rock work, it may bend or break due to insufficient strength.

2: Under rocky soil conditions, rock-type track shoes and long-life track shoes should be selected. This track has good abrasion resistance, high torsion and bending strength, good track bolt tightening, and high connection strength.

3: When loading and snow digging, half-tooth track shoes should be used. The height of its track teeth is between the single-tooth and three-tooth track shoes. There are two track teeth with unequal heights. It has the characteristics of large traction and can prevent frequent steering. This track tooth has a large thickness and is resistant to torsion under heavy loads. The bending strength is high, and the disadvantage is that the driver's riding comfort is poor on hard ground.

4: Wetland track shoes and snow track shoes should be used on wetland and snow respectively. The cross section of the wetland track shoe is a 3-section circular arc. It has a large grounding area, large buoyancy, no tooth tips, and will not cut any objects on the ground. There are special curved sections at both ends to prevent side slippage. Disadvantages are low strength and easy deformation, not applicable except in wet areas. The snow track shoes have ribs and the track teeth have steps to prevent side slippage. The trailing edge is cut off on the board surface, which is easy to squeeze out the ice and snow remaining on the track shoes. If it is used in ordinary soil and rock, the track is easy to wear or damage.

5: On the paved road and paved road, flat track shoes and rubber track shoes can be used respectively. The former has no crawler teeth, the bolt head is lower than the plate surface, and does not damage the road or the ground when walking or working; the latter is to fix the rubber block on the ground surface of the track plate, the machine does not damage the road surface, and there is no noise when crawling; It is because of their limited scope of application. Only for urban paved roads.

6: Handle high-temperature slag materials and use slag to treat track shoes, which is characterized by high heat resistance, high strength and long life, and can also be used for stonework.

B: Correct driving method of bulldozer

1: High-speed driving is prohibited. The high-speed crawler walking mechanism will cause the pin sleeve and the drive wheel, the track section and the guide wheel, the track section and the supporting wheel to collide with each other under the impact load, resulting in the tooth surface of the drive wheel, the outer circle of the pin sleeve, the guide wheel tread surface, Premature wear of track roller treads and track joint treads will also cause cracking of the pin sleeves and track shoes, damage to track roller flanges, and breakage of track joint pins; in addition, the impact force will also cause crawler frames, chassis parts of the main frame Crack, bend or break. Therefore, high-speed sharp turns are strictly prohibited

2: It is strictly forbidden to slip the track shoe under overload. If the track shoe slips, shorten the life of the track shoe; once the track starts to slip, reduce the overload, and avoid the chassis from lifting off the ground, be sure to control the amount of loose soil and the depth of earth excavation. When the machine is turning, it is recommended to make slow and large turns.

3; It is strictly forbidden to let one side track carry for a long time. If most of the load is applied to work under the single-sided crawler for a long time, the parts of the walking mechanism will be prematurely worn or damaged due to uneven stress.

4: It is strictly forbidden to drive on Piaoshi. If the chassis is slanting on the drift stone and exceeds the swing amount of the balance arm, the bending moment or thrust will act on the crawler frame and walking mechanism parts, and the impact load will cause the walking mechanism parts and various chassis parts to crack, twist, and break. Etc. damaged.

5: The bulldozer should be parked on the flat ground every day and avoid parking on the slope. If it is parked on a slope, the static thrust generated by gravity causes the floating oil seal (O-ring) to be deformed and damaged, and oil leakage will occur in the past.

C: Remove the dirt on the trolley frame in time after daily operation

After the work of the bulldozer ends every day, if the soil on the trolley frame is not removed in time, when the accumulated soil is dried and solidified on the trolley frame, it will be very harmful to the walking part of the bulldozer. When the bulldozer is working, the track roller and the wheel are hardly rubbed, which not only causes abnormal wear on the rolling surface of the wheel and the track segment, but also increases the load on the track segment. . In addition, due to the accumulation and solidification of soil on the trolley frame, the guide wheel is hindered from moving backwards, reducing the effect of the buffer tensioning device. When the bulldozer is driving on uneven roads, the impact force received by the guide wheel cannot be buffered by the buffer tensioning device, which may cause damage and damage to the guide wheel assembly.
