How to repair the leakage of engine cooling water tank of Yishan T180 bulldozer?

The water storage tank on the top of the water tank of the Yishan T180 bulldozer is a steel metal container with a trapezoidal section and a thickness of about 3 mm. The circulating cooling water of the engine will produce many bubbles during the flow process, these bubbles will expand rapidly under the action of the high temperature of the cylinder liner, and even burst. Numerous bubble blasting will peel off the surface metal and expose the underlying metal. The water contains hydrogen ions, which can form acidic substances. These acidic substances have a strong corrosive effect on the metal surface. Over time, the water storage tank on the top of the water tank will be hit. Wear and leak. So, how should we deal with this situation? There are 3 ways:
1: Cut the more severely corroded part of the water tank on the top of the water tank, and then make a trapezoidal iron box according to the shape of the cut part and weld it to the original position.
2: Repair part of the circulating water pipe by soldering.
3: Install the water inlet pipe on the newly made trapezoidal iron box.
The repair steps are as follows:
1: Cut the rusty part of the water storage tank, rinse the inside of the water tank thoroughly with high-pressure water, and rinse the scale and rust in the internal pipe network.
2: Block the water outlets and use high-pressure water to test whether the circulating water pipes are leaking.
3: According to the cut water storage tank shape, make a trapezoidal iron box, and make and install the steam discharge pipe on the trapezoidal iron box.
4: Weld the trapezoidal iron box on the cut water tank.
5: Repair the circulating water pipe (solder structure).
6: Use high pressure water for sealing test after processing.
7: Paint new.
Pay attention to the following points when repairing:
1: The trapezoidal iron box is made of a 3mm thick iron plate to ensure that there are no cracks, missing welds, slag inclusions, sand holes, etc. during the welding process, and ensure uniform and smooth welding.
2: When welding the made trapezoidal iron box on the water storage tank, use gas welding to avoid the use of electric welding to break down the original water tank structure due to high temperature.
3: During the welding process, tap water must always be poured on the circulating water pipe in order to quickly diffuse the welding heat, reduce the welding temperature in time, and prevent heat concentration from causing the circulating water pipe to fall off (due to the lower melting point of tin)
4: When making and installing steam exhaust pipes, it should be coordinated with the allowable space of the equipment.
Practice has proved that this method is simple and reliable, and can save about 7000 replacement costs. Sometimes when the operators encounter problems, they should consider how to "repair" as much as possible instead of "replacement" to increase the reuse rate of components. Cutting costs.
