What should be paid attention to in the daily maintenance of bulldozer hydraulic torque converter?

Release time: 2020-10-13 12:13:28 Source: Bulldozer

The hydraulic torque converter of the bulldozer is in the variable torque and variable speed hydraulic system. Common failure phenomena include unblocking, weak acceleration, low transmission efficiency, high oil temperature, abnormal noise of the torque converter, etc. So what should the operator usually pay attention to to prevent torque converter failure? This article will explain the above questions in detail!

What should be paid attention to in the daily maintenance of bulldozer hydraulic torque converter?

1: Reasonably select hydraulic transmission oil.

At present, my country's hydraulic torque converter oil is 6# and 8# hydraulic transmission oil (divided by 100 ℃ kinematic viscosity). According to different seasons combined with seasonal maintenance, replace the appropriate brand of oil in time. If domestic 20# or 30# turbine oil is used instead, the original oil should be drained and cleaned, and then new oil should be added.

2: Keep the hydraulic transmission oil clean.

Practice has proved that more than 60% of the failures of the hydraulic or hydraulic transmission system are caused by oil pollution. Keeping the oil clean is a powerful measure to prevent the failure of the hydraulic torque converter. Therefore, the intrusion of dust, impurities, rain, snow, water and other oil products must be strictly prevented during storage, transportation and refueling.

3: Check the oil level before starting the engine every day.

In any case, the oil volume of the torque converter should meet the specified oil level (in the middle of the transmission transparent inspection mirror) to prevent the oil level from being reduced due to oil leakage.

4: Always observe the oil temperature and oil pressure during operation, and pay attention to whether there is any abnormal noise in the torque converter.

The oil temperature of the torque converter varies with the operating conditions, the normal oil temperature is 90~110 ℃. When the ambient temperature is high or the temperature is higher than 110 ℃ for a long time, it should run at idle speed and wait until the temperature drops before working. The normal oil pressures at the inlet and outlet of the speed changer and torque converter are 1.08~1.47 MPa, 0.60~0.65 MPa and 0.15~0.25 MPa respectively. The pressures have been adjusted before leaving the factory, and generally do not adjust randomly. When the engine is working, the pressure gauge should be within the range of the specified value. If it is abnormal, it should be checked and ruled out; when it is necessary to adjust, unscrew the nut on the screw, turn the screw clockwise to increase pressure, and turn the screw counterclockwise to reduce pressure, adjust Tighten the nut after finishing.

5: Regularly check the oil quality and change the oil. If deposits, moisture, sludge and peculiar smell are found when checking the oil, the oil should be changed in time.

The oil change is usually carried out every 1 200 hours after the trial operation of a new car or overhaul is completed. Oil change method: Drain the oil when the engine is stopped (for example, if there is residual oil in the torque converter, start the engine and run it at 1 000r/min for 20-30s, then the residual oil can be drained. Note: Lubricate at this time Bad, the torque converter running time must not exceed 30s). Refueling is carried out when the engine is stopped. After adding a certain amount of oil, start the engine, run at idle speed for 5 minutes to fill the entire system with fuel, and then stop and check to refuel to the specified height. In the work, it is necessary to overcome the bad phenomenon of only adding oil without changing oil, and replacing oil with supplementary oil.

6: Clean the oil filter regularly.

The oil filter element must be cleaned or replaced every 600 hours of work and every time the oil is changed, and the cycle should be appropriately shortened under severe working conditions. If metal particles are found in the oil during the cleaning process, all parts of the oil circuit system should be thoroughly cleaned and inspected, and the vent of the fuel tank should be kept unblocked.

7: Regularly check the working condition of the torque converter. When checking, first fully open the engine throttle and brake the torque converter output shaft. When the torque converter outlet oil temperature rises to the highest (above 100℃), release the torque converter output shaft to make the speed higher than the maximum working speed. And check the oil temperature drop speed; generally after 15s, the oil temperature should start to drop, if the temperature drops slowly, it means the guide wheel has not loosened; if the temperature drops rapidly, it means the guide wheel and the one-way clutch are working normally, if the temperature continues to be In a fixed state, it may be that the one-way clutch has failed.
