An excellent excavator operator must not only have proficient operating skills, but also have a wealth of excavator maintenance knowledge, which may prolong the service life and stability of components, improve work efficiency, and reduce the probability of sudden collapse of the excavator. . The following is the daily maintenance method of the excavator summarized by the 10-year-old operator, and share it with everyone!

Tips for daily maintenance of excavators

It is best to use genuine oil and oil filter elements, and check and replace them regularly as required.

The air filter element is frequently checked or replaced. The outer filter element is dusty and can be blown from the inside out with an air pump. The air pressure should not be too high to prevent the filter element from being blown. The inner filter cannot be cleaned. After cleaning the outer filter two or three times, it needs to be replaced with the inner filter.

Use qualified diesel for diesel. Don't use some unknown oil for cheap, and it needs to be filtered when refueling.

Do not idle the engine for a long time to prevent carbon deposits.

Hydraulic oil, oil return filter element, pilot filter element should be checked or replaced regularly according to regulations

After replacing hydraulic oil or hydraulic components, exhaust air in time.

Do not blindly dive into the water where the water depth is unknown, so as not to get stuck

It is strictly forbidden to pile up debris in the battery box to prevent heat generation and fire

Use qualified products for fuse, do not use iron wire and copper wire instead of insurance.

When the excavator is parked for a long time, turn off the main power switch or disconnect the battery positive and negative connections

Regularly replace the gear oil of the rotary reducer and the travel reducer

Clean up part of the soil and debris on the pin from time to time, and add butter

After wading, if the water flows over the rotary gear ring, replace the grease in the rotary gear ring

 Pay attention to the anti-rust of the cylinder rod;

If the excavator is parked for a long time, grease should be applied to the main hinge and pin to prevent rust

Check the pin bolts for looseness, fall off or missing from time to time, and tighten them in time

Regularly check the structure for cracks and deformation

The excavator should be parked on a solid and stable ground. Don't park on the edge of a river, cliff or under a mountain slope to prevent the river from rising and landslides.

When the excavator is parked, the bucket cylinder should be fully retracted and the bucket should land to prevent the cylinder from being hit.
