What are the precautions for safe driving of wheeled bulldozers?

Release time: 2020-09-16 17:06:12 Source: Bulldozer

Every kind of construction machinery vehicle has safe operation specifications, and wheeled bulldozers are generally widely used on urban roads, municipal roads, and construction sites where the pavement has been hardened. The following are the operating experience skills summarized by a veteran operator with 8 years of driving experience. Novices are worth seeing:

What are the precautions for safe driving of wheeled bulldozers?

1: When the bulldozer is driving at low speed, do not pull the torque converter to lock and start the joystick to avoid malfunction.

2: When the bulldozer is started, the water temperature of the engine's water tank should not be lower than 5, and the water

temperature of the water tank should be kept at 55~90℃ during bulldozer operation.

3: When the air pressure of the braking system is lower than 0.44 MPa, the bulldozer should not start. The air pressure during driving should be greater than 0.6 MPa.

4: When driving the bulldozer, pay attention to the various data on the dashboard. When the transmission oil pressure is lower than 1.2 MPa and the torque converter outlet pressure is lower than 0.147 MPa, you should stop and check and troubleshoot.

5: The bulldozer can only be shifted after it has stopped.

6: When the bulldozer is going downhill, the engine should not be stalled, and it should not be used for neutral gear. The low gear should be used to slow down.

7; When the bulldozer is in operation, it moves forward and backward frequently, and the brake pedal should be gently stepped on and released, and the action is gentle.

8: During the construction process, if you need to get off the vehicle and communicate with the relevant personnel about the operation method, you should stop the machine and turn off the flame. The engine should not be idling for a long time, so as not to damage the normal temperature of the engine and cause carbon deposits in the fuel injector. A long time will increase fuel consumption and cause insufficient power.

9: For general road transportation, it is advisable to drive with the front axle (the rear axle is disconnected). On muddy potholes, uphills and bulldozing, use double-bridge driving.

10: When pushing walls and demolishing houses, the height should generally not exceed 2.5 meters. Do not use bulldozers to push concrete piles. When bulldozing near the pole, a certain mound should be kept around the pole to prevent the pole from falling over and getting an electric shock. When using a bulldozer to knock down a tree trunk, you should pay attention to its falling direction and whether there are wires and other objects in the sky to prevent accidents.

11: When using a bulldozer to tow large and overweight equipment, there must be a special person to direct the front and rear, and the wire rope must be firmly connected. When towing on slopes or long distances, the tow bar connection should be used to prevent collisions between the vehicle behind and the vehicle ahead due to inertia.
