How to quickly troubleshoot bulldozer steering fault

Release time: 2020-06-18 11:05:06 Source: Bulldozer

bulldozers generally work with high intensity, poor working environment, and the failure rate also increases. Now let's learn how to quickly troubleshoot the steering failure of bulldozers.

  Steering structure principle of bulldozer

推土机转向结构原理

Generally, the steering of bulldozer is realized by the cooperation of brake and steering clutch. The brake is a mechanical control belt brake, and the steering clutch is a wet, multi plate, spring loaded, hydraulic separated clutch. The steering clutch is connected with the rear axle shaft through the steering clutch hub, spline and lock nut, and the rear axle shaft is supported on the rear axle box through the bearings and bearing blocks on both sides. When the bulldozer moves, the rear axle shaft drives the steering clutches on both sides to rotate through the steering clutch hubs on both sides.

The steering clutch hydraulic control system consists of steering pump, steering valve and steering clutch release cylinder. When turning, the pressure oil output by the steering pump enters the steering valve. Under the control of the steering valve, the pressure oil enters the oil hole of the rear axle shaft bearing seat through the left and right connecting oil pipes (the oil hole goes into the inner side of the rear axle shaft bearing seat), and then enters the left and right clutch release cylinders through the oil groove on the outer side of the steering clutch hub, pushing the piston of the steering clutch release cylinder to move so as to make the clutch release cylinder move The dozer is separated, so as to realize the steering of the bulldozer.

First of all, check whether the oil pressure of the hydraulic system of the transmission clutch is normal, which shows that the steering pump and the steering valve have no fault. The fault may be the oil leakage after connecting the oil pipe. Secondly, check that the O-ring on the left connecting oil pipe is not damaged, and analyze that the fault may occur at the left and right bearing seats, steering clutch hub and clutch release cylinder. In addition, the left and right steering clutches were disassembled and inspected. It was found that the lock nut of the left steering clutch hub was loose, the bearing supporting the rear axle shaft was worn, and the mating surface between the inner side of the steering clutch hub and the bearing pedestal was worn (the mating surface is the position of the oil hole of the rear axle bearing pedestal and the oil groove outside the clutch hub). Although the lock nut of the right steering clutch hub is not loose, the mating surface of the steering clutch hub and bearing seat is also worn, but it is lighter than the left side, and the bearing supporting the rear axle shaft on the right side is also worn. Finally, repair and repair the worn steering clutch hub and bearing seat
