  Caterpillar bulldozer adopts 3412E high pressure common rail diesel engine. The injection timing and injection pressure of diesel engine HEUI injector are controlled by the diesel engine controller (ECM) according to the crank angle of the diesel engine, diesel engine temperature, turbocharger output pressure, load, etc. Take control. When the piston is close to the top dead center, the controller (ECN) sends a control signal to the injector solenoid valve. The solenoid valve opens the injector's injection hole to start fuel injection. The injection pressure of the injector is delivered by the high-pressure oil pump. The pressure control to the high-pressure engine oil common rail pipe is called the injection actuation pressure. The injection actuation pressure sensor sends the actuation pressure signal to the diesel engine controller (ECM). The controller (ECN) controls the injection actuation (RPCV) ) The opening amount of the pressure control valve controls the injection actuation pressure. The injection actuation pressure oil in the high-pressure oil common rail pipe is sent to the injector, thereby controlling the pressure of the injector to inject fuel.


  The engineer analyzed that the diesel engine could not start due to the following reasons:


  1: The starting motor does not work normally


  2: The injection timing of the injector is not accurate


  3: The injection actuation pressure is lower than 4MPa


  The engineer also immediately checked


  Firstly, check that the starter motor is operating normally. Secondly, check that the controller (ECM) shows that the injection actuation pressure is too low. Third, check that the injection actuation pressure solenoid valve is normal. Replace the oil pump and injector oil seals. , The diesel engine still cannot start. Then, check the injection actuation pressure sensor and found that the sensor did not send out an injection actuation pressure signal. Finally, after replacing the injection actuation pressure sensor, the diesel engine can be started smoothly. It is further analyzed that when the injection actuation pressure sensor fails, the injection actuation pressure signal received by the diesel engine controller (ECM) does not reach the pressure value, and the fuel injection start signal will not be sent to the injector solenoid valve, so the diesel engine can not act.
