What are the types and uses of bulldozer ripper?

Release time: 2020-08-18 14:50:15 Source: Bulldozer

The ripper is a passive traction working device, which is generally installed on the rear frame of self-propelled machinery such as graders, bulldozers or tractors. The ripper is mainly composed of the main body of the ripper, the oil cylinder, and the hydraulic pipeline. When the machine is working, under the traction of the main engine and the action of the hydraulic cylinder, the loosening teeth are gradually pressed down to a certain depth of soil under the ground, and move forward with the main engine to loosen the soil. At the end of the operation, the loosening teeth pass through the cylinder Lift off the ground, bulldozer ripper is generally divided into 4 categories

What are the types and uses of bulldozer ripper?

1: Hinge type. 2: Parallel quadrilateral form. 3: Adjustable parallel quadrilateral form. 4: Radial adjustable

According to whether the cutting angle of the ripper is adjustable, there are two types: fixed ripper and adjustable ripper.

The cutting angle of the fixed ripper's ripper does not change when it is raised and lowered. This structure is suitable for operations where the soil is not very hard. The upper pull rod of the fixed ripper is replaced by a manipulation oil cylinder to become an adjustable ripper.

Currently, bulldozer rippers mostly use parallelogram linkage, adjustable parallelogram linkage and radial adjustable linkage. Large rippers are all adjustable. The two oil cylinders of the adjustable ripper, one is used to control the lifting of the ripper, and the other is used to control the change of the cutting angle of the ripper.

The structure of the ripper is mainly composed of a support frame, an upper tie rod, a lower rod, a beam, a lifting cylinder and a ripper, etc. The entire ripper is suspended on the support frame of the rear axle box of the bulldozer. The loosening tooth is fixed in the tooth sleeve of the loosening gear frame with a pin, and the loosening gear rod is provided with multiple pin holes to change the working length of the loosening gear and adjust the loosening depth of the loosening device. Rippers can be divided into single-tooth rippers and multi-tooth rippers according to the number of teeth. Multi-tooth rippers are usually equipped with 2 to 5 rippers. The single-tooth ripper has a large excavation force, which can loosen hard soil and frozen soil, but also excavate soft rock, weathered rock and cracked rock formations. It can also pull out tree roots and remove obstacles for bulldozing operations. The multi-tooth ripper is mainly used to pre-loose thin hard and frozen soil layers to improve the efficiency of bulldozers and scrapers.
