What are the precautions for maintenance and disassembly of the hydraulic torque converter of XGMA TL180 bulldozer?


Decomposition of the torque converter


When the torque converter is removed from the car, first clean the outer surface, then remove the oil pipe, oil pump and triple valve, and disassemble according to the following steps:


1: Remove the power output connection plate and positioning connection plate.


2: Disassembly of turbine shaft. Pry off the anti-movement washer and unscrew the fixing nut; remove the connecting bolts of the end cover and the oil distribution pan from the front end of the torque converter, remove the end cover, and replace the tooling bolts; drive the shaft forward from the rear end of the torque converter (pad Soft metal); Remove the bearing from the shaft.


3: Disassembly of the torque converter rear cover, locking clutch and turbine. Remove the connecting bolts of the pump wheel and the rear cover of the torque converter, lift the rear cover locking clutch and turbine; remove the connecting bolts of the clutch driven drum and the turbine, and remove the turbine; remove the rear cover of the torque converter To lock the coupling bolts of the clutch driving drum, remove the elastic coupling disc and the rear cover of the torque converter; remove the locking clutch retaining ring, pour out the clutch inner and outer pressure plates, the master and slave friction plates, etc.; remove the clutch driving drum ;Pry off the anti-motion washer, unscrew the fixing nut, pad the square wooden block on the bearing end, use the gravity of the clutch piston to punch out the clutch bearing, remove the bearing, and finally remove the butterfly spring and piston.


4: Decomposition of the guide wheel. Pry off the anti-movement washer, unscrew the fixing nut, take out the first and second guide wheels and the one-way clutch together, and remove the spacer and the retaining ring of the pump wheel bearing.


5: Decomposition of torque converter casing, pump wheel and driving gear. Remove the connecting bolts between the torque converter housing and the gear box; take out the torque converter housing, pump wheel and the spherical shell of the driving gear; remove the connecting bolts between the driving gear and the pump wheel and disassemble them.


6: Decomposition of the gearbox. Remove the tooling bolts at the front end of the oil distribution plate, remove the oil distribution plate; remove the retaining ring on the extension drum of the first, second and third output gears, and press out the first, second and third output gears; remove The retaining ring on the gear box seat hole, take out the ball bearing, etc.


 Hydraulic torque converter assembly


The assembly steps of the torque converter are carried out in the reverse order of decomposition. But pay attention to the following technical requirements:

1: All parts should be cleaned carefully before assembly, and all channels should be kept unblocked.


2: During the assembly process, it is forbidden to scrub the parts with fibers (cotton yarn).


3: When assembling the bearing, the front end bearing of the turbine shaft must be greased, and other bearings are not allowed to be greased.


4: When assembling, the arrows of the inner ring of the one-way clutch and the first and second guide wheels should point to the engine side. If there is no such mark, the first guide wheels of the blades (37 pieces) should be installed on the side of the turbine. After the guide wheel is installed, its direction of rotation should be consistent with the rotation of the engine crankshaft. When the guide wheel is turned in the opposite direction, it cannot turn.


5: The O-rings and skeleton rubber oil seals on the torque converter are resistant to oil and temperature. It is forbidden to replace them with ordinary rubber rings.


6: If the pressure value of each valve of the triple valve is normal before maintenance, it does not need to be disassembled and cleaned; otherwise, it can be installed on the torque converter after a pressure test.


7: After the torque converter is assembled, the pump wheel and turbine should be flexibly rotated by hand.


8: After the torque converter is connected to the engine, there should be a gap of 0.5 mm between the end face of the flywheel and the elastic coupling disc assembly.
