What are the reasons why the engine of XCMG TY160 bulldozer cannot start?

Release time: 2020-10-15 11:10:35 Source: Bulldozer

There will always be various problems when bulldozers are parked for a long time. Engines can’t start normally is one of the common mechanical equipment problems. Let’s take XCMG TY160 bulldozers that can’t start during a seasonal maintenance as an example, and share the cause of the failure with everyone!

What are the reasons why the engine of XCMG TY160 bulldozer cannot start?

A friend with a handshake wants to drive a TY160 bulldozer that has been parked for more than 2 months for seasonal maintenance. When the engine cannot be started, check the fuel tank, the fuel is normal, turn on the switch under the fuel tank, and automatically turn off the engine after 1 second after the taxi. The cleaner fuel inlet pipe directly connects the fuel tank with the fuel pipe of the PT pump. If the fuel does not pass through the filter, it still cannot be started. Tighten the manual screw of the fuel solenoid valve to the open position and still cannot start. Immediately contact the maintenance master, when installing the filter, turn the fuel tank switch 3-5 turns, found that some fuel flowed out of the filter inlet pipe, but quickly drained, after careful inspection, finally found that the fuel tank switch is not Turn on, the switch has a spherical structure. When it is rotated 90 degrees, the oil circuit is connected, and when it is rotated 90 degrees, the oil circuit is cut off.

Because the ball switch has no handle and no limit device, only the square iron head is exposed, the operator mistakenly used the ball valve switch as a throttle switch. After 3-5 turns, the ball valve returned to the closed position and the ball valve turned During the process, although a small amount of fuel enters the oil circuit, the vehicle can only be driven for 1 second. When the fuel in the pipe runs out, the machine immediately turns off. Turn the ball valve to the normal position and the bulldozer runs normally.

In fact, the above "faults" are not faults, but the operator is not very familiar with the structure and performance of the bulldozer. Therefore, the operator must not only have proficient driving skills, but also have a good understanding of the performance and knowledge of the bulldozer he is driving. .
