How to skillfully take the piston of loader disc brake caliper

Release time: 2020-07-08 12:01:53 Source: Bulldozer

In the daily operation of the loader, the oil leakage of the disc brake calipers and the locking of the pistons often occur, causing brake failure. If the disassembly and repair are performed according to the prescribed procedures, the four fixing bolts on both ends of the brake caliper must be removed first. Separate the pump body, and then take out the piston with a special pull code. In actual operation, this method is cumbersome and difficult to disassemble. However, experienced engineers often use the drilling method to disassemble the piston of the disc brake caliper of the Z5L0 loader. The specific methods are as follows:

First: place the caliper flat on the drilling machine, drill a vertical circular hole with a diameter of 12mm on the corresponding pump body at the center of each piston, and then tap the thread with the M14x2 tap, select the M14x2 bolt and add in the middle A 14mm copper gasket 10 seals the hole drilled in the pump body.
