What are the common operating precautions for bulldozers?

Release time: 2020-08-26 16:23:27 Source: Bulldozer

bulldozers have different operating skills and experience in different operating environments. The following are common environmental operating precautions for bulldozers summarized by 10-year-old operators. Now I will share with you.

What are the common operating precautions for bulldozers?

1: Bulldozers are suitable for pushing loose clay, loess, sand and other soils. When shoveling harder soils, it is best to loosen the soil with a loosening machine before pushing, which can greatly improve the efficiency of pushing. You must drive in a straight line when shoveling, otherwise the chassis parts will be easily damaged.

2: In the process of pushing and transporting, sharp turns should be avoided as much as possible, but a large radius and slow turning method should be adopted to prevent damage or derailment of the machine parts, and at the same time prevent soil leakage, improve work efficiency, and avoid bulldozers operating in a tilted state , In this state, the operation is easy to cause derailment.

3: When the bulldozer is working on a steep slope for a long time, the oil filter in the engine oil pan is easy to expose the oil surface, the oil pump sucks in air, the pumping capacity is reduced, and the lubrication is poor, which leads to malfunctions, which should be avoided as much as possible.

4: When the resistance is too large during the bulldozing operation, the bulldozing blade should be raised to reduce the load. Take advantage of the trend, do not lift the clutch pedal violently.

5: Keeping the dispenser handle in the lifting or pressure drop position for a long time may easily cause the high pressure hose to burst or the hydraulic system failure. When the bulldozer is operating in a dusty environment, pay special attention to checking the air and oil filters. Carry out maintenance in advance to extend the service life of the engine. The blade of the bulldozer blade should be kept sharp and can be adjusted for use after wear.

6: Bulldozer operating conditions are relatively harsh. When working on muddy grounds in rainy weather, pay special attention to preventing vehicle trapping. Do not shovel too much during operation. Try not to stop during transportation. If the crawler slips, raise the blade immediately. Retract part of the bulldozer to reduce the forward resistance. If you still cannot drive, you should reverse the vehicle quickly, but be careful not to raise the blade when reversing to prevent the locomotive from tilting forward and aggravate the front end of the crawler.

7: Be careful not to turn in a hurry, avoid turning multiple times at the same place. Once the vehicle is trapped, the engine should be turned off immediately to prevent the locomotive from vibrating and deepen the subsidence. The water under the vehicle should be removed and other vehicles should be used to tow it out.

8: Before crossing the river, you should understand the depth of the river, the river bed and the road conditions on the river bank. The depth of the river should not exceed the crankcase dipstick to prevent river water from entering the crankcase. Try not to cross the river where the current is slow, because the river bed is silt and it is easy to get stuck; you should choose to drive in rapids, use gear I or gear to increase the throttle, and strive to cross the river at once. After landing, check whether the bulldozer has any hidden dangers caused by crossing the river.

9: When using a bulldozer to tow a vehicle stuck in the mud, it must be directed by a special person. The wire rope must be of the right length, thickness, and connection. The start must be stable to prevent the wire rope from breaking and hurting people. If the towed vehicle has crumbled, two bulldozers should be used to tow, one of which uses a wire rope to tighten the crooked vehicle laterally to prevent overturning, and the other to tow the crooked vehicle out. If the towed vehicle sinks deeply, one or two bulldozers can be added to tow. At this time, they should be towed side by side, and not one after the other in tandem to avoid damage to the bulldozer in the middle.

10: When using a bulldozer to tow other vehicles or go uphill or transfer, the tow bar should be used as much as possible to prevent collisions with the bulldozer.
